Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Order treats a narrowly defined electro-hydraulic linear-acting cylinder motor (8412.21.00) as eligible for the tariff concession listed at Schedule 4, Item 50, effective 5 October 2011. It changes the customs duty treatment of those imported motors, so importers of goods meeting the size, weight and power limits pay the concessioned tariff rate until the Order is revoked under the Customs Act (see sections cited in the instrument).
