This order gives importers a tariff concession (reduced or zero import duty) on specific aluminium roasting sets imported into Australia.
The concession applies only to roasting sets that include all of the following components:
- An aluminium dish
- A non-stick rack
- A thermometer
- A baster (for basting meat)
- A brush
- A spoon
The goods must fall under customs classification 7615.19.00 (aluminium household articles).
The concession took effect on 7 February 2011 and remains active until it is formally revoked. It operates under Item 50 of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995, which typically provides for duty-free entry of eligible goods.
