This Tariff Concession Order (TC 1039349) declares that parts described as “furnace shells” for electric arc furnaces (tariff classification 8514.90.00) are goods to which the item in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 applies. It is effective from 25 August 2010 and continues until revoked. Made by a delegate of the Chief Executive Officer under section 269P (revocable under sections 269SC–269SD), its mechanical effect is to change the tariff treatment applied by importers and Customs when clearing those parts.
