This Order applies a tariff concession (Schedule 4 item 50) to a specific class of 12 V accumulators that meet three physical measurements (length ≥ 408 mm, weight ≥ 24 kg, acid capacity ≥ 6 litres). It took effect 24 June 2010 and continues until revoked. It affects importers of those batteries by changing their customs duty treatment; the concession was declared by a delegate of the Chief Executive Officer under the Customs Act. Importers must correctly classify goods and show they meet the listed measurements to claim the concession.
