Under section 269P of the Customs Act 1901, this Tariff Concession Order (effective 26 Feb 2010) treats certain knitting yarns (multiple-ply, combed, waxed, ring-spun with at least 50% cotton and at most 50% polyester) as goods to which Schedule 4 item 50 of the Customs Tariff Act 1995 applies. Mechanically, it changes tariff treatment for importers of those yarns; importers therefore face the duty consequences set by Schedule 4. The declaration was made by a delegated officer and continues until revoked.
