Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Tariff Concession Order (TCO 1009228) declares certain passenger‑train brake parts (classified 8607.21.00 and listed by component) to be goods covered by Item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995, effective 22 February 2010. Mechanically, that makes those imported parts eligible for the tariff concession linked to that Schedule item.

It affects importers of the listed brake components (who may pay reduced customs duty) and the Customs administration (which implements classification, eligibility and any revocation).
