Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This Order declares that imported plastic S‑shaped hanging hooks (Tariff classification 3924.90.00) are subject to Item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995, so the Schedule 4 tariff concession applies to those goods from 25 November 2009 (s.269P).

Importers of these hooks are the directly affected parties because the applicable Schedule 4 item changes the customs duty payable; the declaration was made by a delegate and remains in force until revoked under ss.269SC–269SD.
