This Order declares that “concertina walls” described as parts for articulated buses (tariff classification 8708.29.99) are goods to which item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 applies. It takes effect from 5 August 2009 and continues until revoked. Mechanically, the instrument changes how those imported parts are treated under customs tariff law; the decision was made by a delegate of the Chief Executive Officer, and the principal parties affected are importers and customs authorities.
