This Order, made under section 269P of the Customs Act 1901, declares that imports classified at tariff heading 9402.90.00 — “trolleys, syringe disposal, being wheel mounted moulded transporting boxes” — are goods to which Item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 applies, effective 24 July 2009. It therefore changes how those specific imported goods are treated under Schedule 4 (affecting import duty treatment and importer costs); the declaration was made by a CEO delegate and can be revoked under ss 269SC–269SD.
