Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This Tariff Concession Order applies Schedule 4 Item 50 of the Customs Tariff Act 1995 to a narrowly described class of DC motors (dual skip winder) meeting specified power and speed limits. It took effect 23 June 2009 and stays in force until revoked.

Mechanically, it changes tariff treatment on import: importers pay lower/altered duty if goods match the description; the declaration was made by a delegate under s.269P, and compliance requires proof the motor meets the technical specifications.
