Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Declares a specific refractory cement (high‑alumina, high‑silica, with at least 1% Fe2O3) as goods covered by Item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995, effective 11 March 2009. Importers of that narrowly defined cement are affected because the Order alters tariff treatment; the Chief Executive Officer (by delegate) makes and may revoke the concession under the Customs Act, so import duty liability and importer behaviour can change while the Order remains in force.
