What it does: From 24 December 2008 this Order treats a specific type of alloy‑steel pipe (ASTM A335 Grade P91 with at least 8% chromium, 0.7% molybdenum and 0.18% vanadium) as eligible for the tariff concession listed at Schedule 4 item 50. It changes how Customs classifies these imports for duty purposes.
Who it affects: Importers of the specified pipe (Customs heading 7304.59.00) can claim the concession if the product meets the composition; the declaration was made by a delegate under s.269P and remains until revoked under ss.269SC/269SD.
