This Order names sodium acid pyrophosphate (tariff classification 2835.39.10) as a good to which Part III, Schedule 4, item 50 of the Customs Tariff Act 1995 applies, effective 19 August 2008 until revoked. It is made by a delegate of the Chief Executive Officer under section 269P of the Customs Act 1901. Mechanically, the instrument changes the tariff treatment applied at import for that specific chemical; importers and customs brokers must reflect that treatment in their customs entries and payment calculations.
