This Order declares that steel hydraulic-hose connectors (Tariff classification 7307.99.00) are goods to which item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 applies. It took effect 13 August 2008 and remains in force until revoked under sections 269SC or 269SD of the Customs Act 1901. The immediate practical effect is on importers of those connectors (who are subject to whatever concession or treatment Schedule 4 item 50 provides); the declaration was made by a delegated officer.
