This Order treats imports described as “HERBICIDE, having an active ingredient of dicamba” (tariff heading 3808.93.00) as falling under item 50 of Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995, giving them the Schedule 4 tariff treatment. It took effect 26 June 2008 and was made under s.269P of the Customs Act 1901.
Mechanically, importers of that dicamba herbicide may claim the concession (reducing or removing import duty); the declaration was made by a delegate of the CEO and it remains in force until revoked under ss.269SC–269SD.
