This Order (TCO 0801271) declares that the goods described as “Y-TOOLS, DOWNHOLE” (tariff classification 8481.80.90) are goods to which item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 applies, effective 23 January 2008 until revoked (s.269P; ss.269SC–269SD). Practically, importers and customs officials must apply Schedule 4 item 50 to these imports, changing how those goods are treated for tariff purposes and creating an administrative classification and compliance requirement; the Order was made by a delegate of the CEO (s.269P).
