This Tariff Concession Order (0721689) designates specific parts and assemblies for directional drilling tools — collars; an electronic module with sensors; a power module with alternator; and a steering module with motor — as goods to which Item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 applies. It took effect 13 December 2007 and remains in force until revoked under the Customs Act.
The change alters tariff treatment and compliance for importers and customs officials: importers must match their shipments to the Order’s description to rely on the Schedule 4 item, and the delegate’s declaration controls application and revocation.
