This Order (under s.269P of the Customs Act 1901) applies Schedule 4 Item 50 of the Customs Tariff Act 1995 to a specific imported good: “carpet, bowling surface, polypropylene, woven” (tariff classification 5702.50.90). It has effect from 08.06.07 and continues until revoked (ss.269SC–269SD).
Practically, importers of that carpet may claim the Schedule 4 concession; the decision was made by a delegate of the Chief Executive Officer (signed by Michael Perry). To determine the duty consequence, consult Schedule 4 Item 50 in the Customs Tariff Act.
