This Tariff Concession Order applies Schedule 4 item 50 of the Customs Tariff Act 1995 to imported goods classified at 8504.40.90 described as “chargers, battery, cradle type, including re-chargeable batteries”, effective 7 June 2007 until revoked. It was made by a delegate of the CEO under section 269P of the Customs Act 1901. Mechanically, importers of those chargers can claim the Schedule 4 concession (reducing or removing customs duty); the benefit depends on correct tariff classification and remains in force only while not revoked.
