This Tariff Concession Order applies Schedule 4, Part III item 50 to ‘cork, agglomerated’ in rolls (tariff classification 4504.10.00) from 23 January 2007 until revoked under ss269SC or 269SD of the Customs Act 1901. Mechanically, it changes the tariff treatment that importers of those cork rolls receive (the Schedule 4 item 50 rate applies). The decision was made by a delegate under s269P (Wendy Knowles). Who pays and who acts: importers gain reduced duty liability; customs administer classification and any revenue effects.
