Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

Tariff Concession Order 0619743 designates certain fired refractory bricks/shapes (Customs classification 6902.20.00) as goods covered by the item in Part III of Schedule 4 (item 50) of the Customs Tariff Act 1995, effective 12 December 2006 until revoked.

The Order changes the tariff treatment that applies to imports meeting the Order's detailed physical specifications, so it affects importers, customs brokers and firms that buy or use these specialised refractory products because they must meet the Order's criteria to receive the Schedule 4 treatment.
