This Tariff Concession Order, declared by Michael Perry under s.269P of the Customs Act 1901, treats imported aluminium foil (HS 7607.19.00) — thickness not exceeding 25 micron and heat-seal lacquered on one side — as falling under item 50 of Part III, Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995, effective 20 May 2005. Mechanically, that qualification lets importers claim the Schedule 4 concession (changing tariff treatment) while it remains in force until revoked under ss.269SC or 269SD; importers must meet the physical specification and correct classification to rely on it. The concession lowers import costs for qualifying importers and changes relative costs between importers and domestic suppliers.
