#### 57 Delegation of Authority’s functions 57 Delegation of Authority’s functions > > (1) The Authority may delegate to an authorised person any of its functions, other than this power of delegation. > > > (2) A delegate may sub-delegate to an authorised person any function delegated by the Authority if the delegate is authorised in writing to do so by the Authority. > > > (3) In this section, authorised person means— > > > > > (a) a member of staff of the Authority, or > > > > > (b) a subsidiary corporation referred to in section 58, or > > > > > (c) a council or the general manager of a council, or > > > > > (d) a person or persons— > > > > > > > (i) approved by the Minister, or > > > > > > > (ii) approved by the Authority, or > > > > > > > (iii) prescribed by the regulations. > > **s 57:** Am 2009 No 96, Sch 26 \[4\]; 2015 No 58, Sch 3.89 \[6\].
