#### 17 Interpretation: Division 2 17 Interpretation: Division 2 > > (1) For the purposes of this Division, development is carried out by the Authority if the development is carried out by, for or on behalf of the Authority. > > > (2) Words and expressions used in the [Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1979-203) and in this Division have the same meanings in this Division as they have in that Act. > > > (3) Subsection (2) does not apply to the extent that the context or subject-matter otherwise indicates or requires.
