#### 5 Surveys carried out by public authorities 5 Surveys carried out by public authorities > A survey carried out by or on behalf of a public authority must be carried out— > > > (a) subject to the regulations, by reference to the Geocentric Datum of Australia, but with elevations established by reference to Australian Height Datum, and > > > (b) in accordance with the requirements of the regulations.
