### 4 Public authorities to compile and forward to Surveyor-General lists of existing plans > > (1)  The proper officer of every public authority shall, within six months after the commencement of this Act – > > > > > > (a) cause to be compiled a list setting out the prescribed particulars with respect to all plans in the possession of the authority at the commencement of this Act which were compiled after the thirty-first day of December 1910, whether made by or on behalf of the authority or lodged therewith; and > > > > > > > (b) cause a copy of the list, certified by him to be correct and complete, to be forwarded to the Surveyor-General. > > > (2)  Every public authority shall, upon being so required by the Surveyor-General, appoint a fit and proper person as the proper officer of that authority for the purposes of this Act.
