49D Notification to Inspector‑General of Intelligence and Security of things done under a network activity warrant

If: (a) a network activity warrant was issued in response to an application made by the chief officer of the Australian Federal Police or the Australian Crime Commission; and (b) a thing mentioned in subsection 27KP(8) was done under the warrant after the 28‑day period mentioned in paragraph 27KP(8)(k); the chief officer must: (c) notify the Inspector‑General of Intelligence and Security of the fact that the thing was done under the warrant after the 28‑day period mentioned in paragraph 27KP(8)(k); and (d) do so within 7 days after the thing was done.
