Tasmania regulation
These regulations prescribe the court fees payable for surrogacy-related applications under the Surrogacy Act: applications for parentage orders (both Divisions 1 and 2 of Part 4) and applications to discharge a parentage order. Each listed matter is set at 65 fee units (Regulation 4; Schedule 1). Applicants (for example, intended parents or persons named in orders) must pay these fees to the court. The rules commence 1 May 2023 and are administered by the Department of Justice; the fee is expressed in fee units, not dollars.
