### 917 Discharge of garnishee > Payment made by, or execution levied on, the garnishee under this Division is a valid discharge to the garnishee as against the judgment debtor to the extent of the amount paid or levied, even though the judgment afterwards may be set aside or the provisional garnishee order discharged.
