### 873 Payment of money
> > (1) A judgment or order for the payment of money into Court may be enforced by one or both of the following means:
> >
> > > > (a) appointment of a receiver under [Division 2](#HP36@HD2@EN) of [Part 36](#HP36@EN) ;
> > >
> > > > (b) committal and sequestration, if [rule 876](#GS876@EN) applies and subject to [rule 883](#GS883@EN) .

> > (2) A judgment or order for the payment of money not enforceable under [subrule (1)](#GS873@Gs1@EN) may be enforced by one or more of the following means:
> >
> > > > (a) writ of *fieri facias*;
> > >
> > > > (b) attachment of debt under [Division 5](#HP35@HD5@EN) of [Part 35](#HP35@EN) ;
> > >
> > > > (c) attachment of earnings under [Division 6](#HP35@HD6@EN) of [Part 35](#HP35@EN) ;
> > >
> > > > (d) charging order under [Division 1](#HP36@HD1@EN) of [Part 36](#HP36@EN) ;
> > >
> > > > (e) appointment of a receiver under [Division 2](#HP36@HD2@EN) of [Part 36](#HP36@EN) ;
> > >
> > > > (f) committal and sequestration if [rule 876](#GS876@EN) applies and subject to [rule 883](#GS883@EN) .

> > (3) If a person fails to perform an undertaking given to the Court, a judge or to any person to pay a sum of money, other than into Court, the Court or a judge may make an order that may be enforced in the manner prescribed by [subrule (2)](#GS873@Gs2@EN) for payment of the money.
