### 855 Notice to party to file bill
> > (1) [*\[Rule 855 Subrule (1) amended by S.R. 2003, No. 139, Applied:26 Nov 2003\]*](/view/html/inforce/2003-11-26/sr-2003-139#GS17@EN) If a person entitled to costs does not file a bill, the taxing officer, whether or not any application has been made by any party, may –

> > > > (a) give notice to all parties to file their bills of costs for taxation; and

> > > > (b) limit a time for that purpose.

> > (2) Where a party entitled to costs neglects to file the bill of costs for taxation, the taxing officer, so as to prevent another party being prejudiced by the neglect, may –
