### 809 Date of effect of other judgments and orders
> Except as provided by [rules 807](#GS807@EN) and [808](#GS808@EN) , a judgment or order –

> > > (a) is to bear the date on which the requisite documents are left with the registrar for the purpose of it being entered; and

> > > (b) takes effect on and from that date.
