### 784 Interpretation of Division 3 of Part 32
> In this Division –

> > ***Settled Land Act*** means the [Settled Land Act 1884](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1884-010) read together with the [Settled Land Act 1911](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1911-033) ;
>
> > ***tenant for life*** includes –
> >
> > > > (a) a tenant for life as defined by the Settled Land Act; and
> > >
> > > > (b) any person having the powers of a tenant for life under that Act.
