### 644 Pleadings and subsequent proceedings > > (1)  The respondent is to plead to an information within the same time and in the same manner as if the information were a statement of claim in an action. > > > (2)  The same proceedings are to be taken in all respects, including pleadings, trial, judgment and execution, as if the proceeding by information were an action in which the Attorney-General or relator was the plaintiff and the respondent was the defendant.
