### 613 Order for sale of land > > (1)  If it is necessary or expedient for the purpose of any proceeding relating to land, the Court or a judge, at any stage of the proceeding, may order that – > > > > > > (a) the whole or any part of the land be sold; and > > > > > > > (b) any party in possession of the land, or in receipt of the rents and profits, deliver possession to some specified person. > > > (2)  Unless otherwise ordered, an order under [subrule (1)](#GS613@Gs1@EN) is to require – > > > > > > (a) that the land be sold – > > > > > > > > > > (i) for the best available price; and > > > > > > > > > > > (ii) for a sum not less than a reserve previously set by a judge; and > > > > > > > (b) that all parties join in the sale and conveyance or transfer.
