### 472 Order to attend for examination or produce document > > (1)  In any proceeding, the Court or a judge may make an order for – > > > > > > (a) a person to attend for examination; or > > > > > > > (b) a corporation to produce any document or thing specified in the order; or > > > > > > > (c) a person to attend and produce any document or thing specified in the order. > > > (2)  An order under [subrule (1)](#GS472@Gs1@EN) may be made to attend before, or produce to, any of the following: > > > > > > (a) the Court; > > > > > > > (b) a judge; > > > > > > > (c) any officer of the Court; > > > > > > > (d) a judge of an inferior court; > > > > > > > (e) an examiner; > > > > > > > (f) a special referee; > > > > > > > (g) an arbitrator; > > > > > > > (h) any other person authorised to take evidence. > > > (3)  An order under this rule does not require a person to produce any document which that person could properly object to produce on the ground of privilege. > > > (4)  A person required to attend under an order under this rule is entitled to the same conduct money and payment for expenses and loss of time as on his or her attendance at a trial in Court. > > > (5)  Any person who wilfully disobeys an order under this rule is guilty of contempt of court and may be dealt with accordingly.
