### 391 Inspection of documents referred to in pleadings or affidavits > > (1)  A party to a proceeding may serve on any other party in whose pleading or affidavit reference is made to a document notice that the first-mentioned party intends to inspect that document. > > > (2)  Within 4 days after being served with a notice under [subrule (1)](#GS391@Gs1@EN) , a party is to serve on the party giving that notice a notice stating – > > > > > > (a) a place and time within 7 days after service at which the documents that the party served does not object to producing may be inspected; and > > > > > > > (b) which of the documents that party objects to producing and the grounds for that objection.
