### 385 Parties entitled to copy of list of documents
> > (1) A defendant who delivers a defence is entitled to obtain from a plaintiff making discovery a copy of any list of documents and any affidavit verifying the list served on –
> >
> > > > (a) the plaintiff by any other defendant; or
> > >
> > > > (b) any other defendant by the plaintiff.
>
> > (2) If the defendant delivers a counterclaim joining another person with the plaintiff as defendant to the counterclaim, [subrule (1)](#GS385@Gs1@EN) applies as if the defendant were the plaintiff and the plaintiff and the other person were the defendants.

> > (3) A third party who delivers a pleading is entitled to obtain from the defendant by whom the third party was joined and who is making discovery, a copy of any list of documents and any affidavit verifying the list served –
> >
> > > > (a) by the plaintiff on that defendant; or
> > >
> > > > (b) on the plaintiff by that defendant.
