### 294 Persons not to be litigation guardian
> A corporation or a person residing out of the jurisdiction of the Court must not be a litigation guardian unless the corporation or person –
>
> > > (a) has been appointed as litigation guardian by the Court or a judge; or
> >
> > > (b) is authorised under the [Guardianship and Administration Act 1995](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-1995-044) to conduct or defend a proceeding in the name, or on behalf, of a represented person.
