### 286 Disclosure of offer to Court
> > (1) A statement of the fact that an offer of compromise has been made must not be contained in any pleading or affidavit.
>
> > (2) Except as provided by [rule 288(3)](#GS288@Gs3@EN) , communication of an offer of compromise that is not accepted must not be made to the judge or jury at the trial of the proceeding to which the offer relates until all questions of liability and the relief to be granted are determined.
>
> > (3) This rule applies only to an offer of compromise made without prejudice.
