### 278 Payment out in the case of small intestate estates > The Court or a judge may direct that a fund or share of a fund be paid to any spouse, child, parent or sibling of a deceased person who would be entitled to a grant of administration if – > > > > (a) the estate of the deceased person who has died intestate is entitled to a fund in Court or a share of the fund not exceeding $20 000; and > > > > > (b) letters of administration of the estate are not granted; and > > > > > (c) the assets in the estate, including the fund or share of the fund to which the estate is entitled, do not exceed $20 000 in value.
