### 23 Proceedings in district registries > > (1)  Any step in a proceeding in a district registry, whether before or after judgment and including execution, is to be taken in the district registry unless these rules otherwise provide or the Court or a judge otherwise orders. > > > (2)  If the Court or a judge directs a judgment or an order in a proceeding in a district registry to be entered in the Principal Registry, the Principal Registrar is to send an office copy of the judgment or order to the district registry for filing.
