### 203 Form, issue and service of notice > > (1)  A third party notice is to – > > > > > > (a) state the nature and grounds of the claim or the nature of the question or issue sought to be determined; and > > > > > > > (b) state the nature and extent of any relief or remedy claimed; and > > > > > > > (c) be in accordance with the prescribed form; and > > > > > > > (d) limit a period for appearance by the third party, not less than that prescribed by [rule 98](#GS98@EN) or [99](#GS99@EN) , as if the third party were a defendant named in a writ; and > > > > > > > (e) be lodged at the registry with as many copies as the defendant requires to be sealed. > > > (2)  A third party notice is to be served in the same manner as if it were a writ. > > > (3)  A copy of the writ and a copy of any pleadings delivered in the action are to be served with the third party notice.
