Tasmania regulation
These Rules formally adopt the Supreme Court Rules 2000 as the instrument’s "Principal Rules" (cl.3) and state the amendment rules take effect when their making is notified in the Gazette (cl.2). They affect judges, court staff, lawyers and litigants because those actors must comply with any procedural changes once notification occurs; the Registrar and the judicial signatories give effect to the instrument and the Department of Justice and Industrial Relations administers it.
