Tasmania regulation
These Rules make miscellaneous amendments to the Supreme Court Rules 2000 and formally rescind Part X of the older Rules of the Supreme Court 1965 (see rule 17). They take effect seven days after Gazette notification (rule 2).
Who is affected: lawyers, litigants and court staff must follow the revised procedural rules. The court administration decides how the changes are applied; affected parties bear the small administrative cost of updating forms, practice and compliance to match the authorised version of the Principal Rules.
