59 Damages in nature of interest (1) The Court, on application in all proceedings for trover or trespass concerning goods, must, unless good cause is shown to the contrary, give damages in the nature of interest over and above the value of the goods at the time of the conversion. (2) The Court, on application in all proceedings on any policies of insurance, must, unless good cause is shown to the contrary, give damages in the nature of interest over and above the money receivable.
