142 References Unless the contrary intention appears, on and from the commencement of section 28 of the **Courts Legislation Amendment (Associate Judges) Act 2008**, a reference in any Act (other than that Act), subordinate instrument or other document— (a) to a Master of the Supreme Court is to be construed as a reference to an Associate Judge of the Supreme Court; and (b) to the Senior Master is to be construed as a reference to the Associate Judge who is the Senior Master; and (c) to the Taxing Master is to be construed as a reference to the Associate Judge who is the Taxing Master.
