#### 113 Government Sector Employment Act 2013 113 [Government Sector Employment Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-040) > > (1) The [Government Sector Employment Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-040) does not apply to an associate Judge. > > > (2) Despite subsection (1), if the [Government Sector Employment Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-040) applies to a person immediately before the person’s appointment as associate Judge, the person is entitled to receive any deferred or extended leave and any privileges as if the person had remained a Public Service employee within the meaning of that Act. > > > (3) The [Government Sector Employment Act 2013](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2013-040) does not apply to an acting associate Judge unless that Act applies to the acting associate Judge immediately before his or her appointment as acting associate Judge. > > **s 113:** Am 1994 No 32, Sch 3.
