37Q Bail time on appeal does not count towards sentence
If a person who has been convicted and sentenced to a term of
imprisonment appeals to the Court of Appeal (against the conviction,
or sentence, or both), any time spent while released on bail pending
the decision on the appeal does not count as part of the term of
imprisonment.
