Commonwealth act
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This appropriation authorises the Australian Government to withdraw £1,485,550 from the Consolidated Revenue Fund to meet public expenses for the year ending 30 June 1934. It funds departmental operations (notably Defence), government business undertakings—chiefly the Postmaster‑General’s Department—territorial administration, and a refunds reserve.
The Treasurer may only apply these moneys to expenses incurred before 1 July 1934; any unspent funds lapse thereafter.
